Behind the Code

Every portfolio has a nice layout, cool projects, and a fancy title. But behind every line of code, there is a real human story.

It’s not always perfect, but it’s real.

So, if you’re curious about the person who built this, let me introduce myself.

No Dreams, Just Days, Until Something Sparked.

For a long time, I didn't have any grand ambitions. I wasn't chasing big dreams or trying to make a name for myself. I was just living life one day at a time, going wherever it took me.

But even as a kid, I always loved making things. With just some scrap wood, nails, iron pins, and a lot of imagination, I used to build toy trucks and cars. I didn't have any fancy tools. Looking back now, I realize that's when I first fell in love with design, movement, and the pure joy of building things from scratch.

Where It All Began With Resistance and Faith.

I was never really a top student. I somehow managed to just pass my 10th grade. But something inside me had changed, and I knew I wanted to study further. So, I packed my bags and moved to Hailakandi town for my higher secondary science studies.

My father wasn't convinced. Money was really tight, and he doubted I would take my studies seriously. But my mother and grandmother saw something else in me. They believed in me when nobody else did. They gave me a chance, and I grabbed it with both hands, promising myself I wouldn't let them down.

Working the Floors, Not Just the Books.

Later in Bhubaneswar, I started working part-time in showrooms alongside my studies just to make ends meet. I didn't learn about the real world from textbooks; I learned it from the daily grind, standing on my feet all day, and understanding the value of hard work.

After finishing my mechanical studies, I moved to Bangalore and got a job as a Mould Engineer. The title sounded fancy, but the reality was completely different. The salary was so low it barely covered my meals. I had to look for other options, even working as a daily laborer for a while. But life clearly had other plans for me.

The Crash Back Home.

About a year later, I found myself back home in Lala. I had no job, no clear path, and I felt completely lost. Things were really tense at home, and the guilt of being a burden on my family haunted me every single day.

One day, my girlfriend looked at me and said
Don’t just sit around and waste your potential. You’ve done it before, you can get out there and do it again.

That little push of belief from her was all I needed to pick myself up. I packed my bags one more time and set my sights on Gurgaon.

Code. Chaos. Commitment..

In Gurgaon, I joined as a CAD/CNC Programmer. The job paid the bills, but I knew I was meant for something else. Every night, after coming back exhausted from work, I would sit in front of my laptop and teach myself web development, digital marketing, and affiliate marketing.

My shifts were absolutely brutal, rotating every two weeks: 6 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and the graveyard shift from 11 PM to 6 AM. I barely slept. I was surviving on tea, coffee, and a stubborn determination to change my life.

8 Months That Changed My Life.

For the next eight months, I joined a military style coding bootcamp. The schedule was crazy. Training from 11 AM to 11 PM, every single day except Sundays. But sitting there for 12 hours was just the beginning.

It was a massive grind. We had daily midday exams where they monitored us constantly via webcam to make sure we were fully focused. The assignments meant sleepless nights, pushing me way beyond my mental and physical limits. It was an exhausting test of endurance, but honestly, that intense pressure was exactly what I needed to grow.

Before I even finished the course, I got an internship as a web developer. Just two months into the internship, they offered me a full-time position. After working there dedicatedly for a year, I got promoted to a Senior Web Developer role. The pieces had finally fallen into place. I had found my true calling.

Tested by Fire.

But the journey wasn't a straight path to success. As I started growing in my career, I went through a really tough phase where a few people tried to take advantage of my hard work. I faced extremely unfair treatment and situations that were deliberately designed to break my confidence and make me question my own worth.

It got so dark and painful that at one point, the pressure pushed me to the absolute edge, and I even thought about giving up on my life. But in that darkest moment, I made a choice to fight back. Instead of letting them destroy me, I used that anger as fuel. Those experiences taught me the hardest lessons of my life like how to set boundaries, how to realize my actual worth, and how to trust my gut. They didn't break me; they made me the strong, resilient professional I am today.

Fueling the Wanderlust.

But my life isn't just about code and screens. I have a huge passion for traveling. I’ve already explored the high passes of Ladakh, the crazy energy of Delhi, and the unique vibes of Haryana, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Mizoram, Odisha, and Bangalore, and the list is still growing.

My ultimate escape is hitting the road on my bike. Riding through the rugged, beautiful landscapes of Ladakh and Sikkim gives me a sense of absolute freedom. And you know the best part? It’s my work, not just a normal job, but the craft I built from scratch, that funds this freedom. Every project I take on and every line of code I write empowers me to live my dream life.

From Nothing to Everything.

I’ve spent nights sleeping in a van. There were days when I had barely ₹250 in my bank account. I’ve crashed on the terraces of people I barely knew. But through it all, I never let my family know how much I was struggling. I carried that weight silently and just kept pushing forward.

Today, all that struggle has finally paid off. Through sheer hard work, I achieved a milestone that once felt like a distant dream: I bought my own car, fully funded by the career I built myself. Every line of code I write now carries a piece of that journey. It's the story of turning absolutely nothing into everything.
