When I heard the devastating news of Zubeen Da's passing in Singapore on September 19, 2025, I felt like Assam had lost its voice. As a lifelong fan, I couldn't accept that the man we all lovingly call Luit Kontho of Assam (Voice of Brahmaputra), the Humming King of Assam, the Humming King of India, and for many of us, the Humming King of the World, was no longer among us.
I am Debraj Roy, a 27-year-old software developer from Hailakandi, Assam. Out of deep love and respect, I created Zubeenda.online, a one-stop digital platform dedicated to preserving Zubeen Garg's legacy, music, and memories.
